We think most Hospitality business owner can relate to the following issue. Guests who have had a wonderful time in your location, However since there are so many hospitality venues, guests simply forget about there experience since you're not top of mind anymore. Therefore, it would be great to setup a "long time no see campaign" specifically targeted to get guests back into your venue, so you can surprise them again with the full experience. Hence you're building a stronger relationship with the guest.
How can you contact the guests that you haven't seen for a while? Well, the Guest Marketing module allows you to capture information of all the guests that connect to your WiFi, information that can be used to automatically re-engage with your guest to let them return to your venue. Campaigns can include promotions, new menu, special celebration and so on.
Utilizing the messaging tool you can create a campaign where you can re-engage with guests the you haven't seen for a long time. With the Messaging module you can build your e-mail template and select when the campaign will be triggered, for example after you havent seen the guest for over 3 months.
For example you can invite them to try the new seasonal menu, to try a new cocktail or to come to an event you are throwing.
The steps for creating this type of message are the same as any other.
1. Go to Messages > Create a new message
2. Fill all the sender details > Continue to the design
3. Edit your template here, to create a nice e-mail
4. Continue to filters and set them as you prefer. In this case we recommend sending this friendly reminder to those who visited you 3 months ago.
